Lawrence Dore
Spear’s Review
Once dubbed the ‘crisis king’, Lawrence Dore is a founding partner at DRD Partnership, where he provides communications advisory services to leading players in the private client and wealth management industry, as well as their HNW and UHNW clientele.
Dore is regarded as a go-to adviser in the litigation communications, risk preparedness and ESG reporting space. Through DRD Private, the firm’s private client branch, his clients have access to a wealth of expertise and a tailored response – as well as tools from across DRD’s wide network.
‘DRD was born out of not wanting to be day-to-day or routine,’ he tells Spear’s. ‘The ambition was to be the best focused firm.’
He says he appreciates the importance of ensuring positive client outcomes. ‘The first thing we do is really understand what it is that [clients] are going to need,’ Dore says. ‘Sometimes what they say they want and what they need are different.’
