Marco Kern is the founder of Zurich-based private office Sesalpena, which describes itself as a ‘strategic specialist for luxury mobility and assets, financing solutions, entrepreneurs’ needs and private management’.
Formerly head of Credit Suisse’s aviation and yacht finance business, Kern is now committed to keeping his boutique firm ‘small, flexible, efficient and client-focused’, he tells Spear’s.
As part of the service offered, Kern tracks trends in loans against pools of assets such as jets, helicopters and yachts, as well as luxury real estate and other special assets such as art and cars, providing ‘holistic and neutral’ advice to all of his UHNW clients. He also holds private pilot licences for aircraft and helicopters.
