Matt Carter, a partner and UK lead at reputation management firm BPI Group, says his work has never been more crucial.
‘There’s a huge amount of chaos and uncertainty in the world at the moment,’ Carter tells Spear’s. ‘People want a trusted adviser who can lead them through it, and that’s what we do.’
Carter founded reputation management firm Message House in 2013; it became part of BPI Group at the end of 2024. In the last 12 months he has been focusing on helping his clients to counter the increasing spread of misinformation and build a resilient reputation. Central to this is having a grasp of a client and their business from the top down.
‘Working to figure out your biggest strengths and gaps in your reputation is the best way someone can be prepared when criticism comes,’ he explains.
