Nigel Stout
Founded in 1973, MPW is a group of specialist independent schools in England, chaired by Oxford educated Dr Nigel Stout, with schools based in London, Birmingham and Cambridge. They offer GCSE and A-Level courses with no more than nine pupils to a class. The basic fee for full-time students ranges up to £9,163 per term at A-Levels. Mentioned in Tatler and the Sloane Ranger’s Handbook as the ‘society’ sixth form college, the school’s South Kensington branch boasts a star-studded roster of alumni with former pupils including Lily Allen, Tamara Beckwith and Petra Eccleston. And MPW produces results, with over a third of entries at A or A* and a 99 per cent pass rate across all subjects in 2017.
