Ryan McSharry
Spear’s Review
‘There is a popular image of a swashbuckling PR, when actually the modern-day watchword is calmness,’ Ryan McSharry, head of the UK crisis and litigation practice at reputation management firm Infinite, tells Spear’s.
A deft PR operator who works with a range of prominent figures in business and politics, McSharry is often involved in high-stakes, high-value matters. This includes one of the largest damages lawsuits in UK history, where he advised 235,000 Brazilians in a £5 billion claim after a deadly dam collapse. He also aided a large pension fund on a data breach, and advised on a $200 million fraud case in the UK Supreme Court.
McSharry notes that privacy is particularly important to HNW clients nowadays, and they require more data safeguards than ever before – such as ensuring that medical records do not enter the ‘dark web’.
