Simon Monk

Spear’s Review

Chartered wealth manager Simon Monk joined Raymond James in 2020. Since his arrival, Monk has established his position as an integral component of the organisation – including by setting up Raymond James’ Ropemaker Place office in London.

Monk’s current responsibilities include providing discretionary investment management and financial planning to HNW families, trusts, court of protection deputies, charities and pension funds. Prior to joining Raymond James, Monk served as an investment manager for Brown Shipley for almost three decades, and he brings with him a wealth of experience. Soon after he joined Raymond James, Monk told the Financial Times: ‘Initially one of the main attractions of Raymond James was the prospect of building my business whilst retaining client ownership and control in the way those clients are serviced and the bespoke manner in which their investments are managed.’

His expertise is highly regarded; according to Raymond James: ‘Simon’s clients greatly value his professional yet personal approach, delivering a high level of service together with clear and transparent advice.’
