The first British rider to become world number one in eventing, William Fox-Pitt has represented his country at major equestrian championships for nearly 30 years, winning 14 five-star eventing titles, and silver at the 2012 London Olympics .

Having announced his retirement from top-level competition in 2024, Fox-Pitt is set to continue to lead Fox-Pitt Eventing from the state-of-the-art Wood Lane Stables training centre in Dorset, developing young horses and coaching upper-level eventers.

Fox-Pitt also runs a consultancy, providing a specialist and personalised design and build team for those wanting to create an equestrian establishment or yard of their own.
