Richard Killingbeck, managing director of EFG Harris Allday, was CEO of WH Ireland for several years before moving to his current firm in 2018 to oversee its HNW offering. 

Killingbeck, who oversaw key transformational changes at WH Ireland, has also held senior roles at Credit Suisse Private Bank, Close Brothers Asset Management and Singer and Friedlander Investment Management. He chaired the Bankers Investment Trust and is a trustee of the London Stock Exchange Benevolent Fund.

Richard Killingbeck has over 35 years of financial services experience, leading businesses that focus on delivering tailored investment solutions to private clients. He joined EFG Harris Allday in November 2018, before becoming Managing Director of the West Midlands based firm in May 2019.

Richard's leadership style has led EFG Harris Allday through a transformative period of growth, supporting 20 experienced Investment Directors and Managers across the UK.                       

Since joining in 2018, Richard has established the London office for the firm. He oversees the four offices, based in Birmingham, London, Ombersley and Shrewsbury. EFG Harris Allday hold gross assets under management of circa £2.93bn as at December 2023. EFG Harris Allday was acquired by EFG Private Bank in 2006 and is wholly owned by EFG. EFG International is one of the largest Swiss Private Banks, publicly listed in Switzerland, with gross assets under management of circa CHF 142 billion as of 31 December 2023.                    

Prior to joining EFG Harris Allday, Richard spent six years as CEO of WH Ireland plc. He has previously held senior management roles at Credit Suisse Private Bank and Close Brothers Asset Management. Richard was also CEO at Singer and Friedlander Investment Management.                      

Richard was Chairman of Bankers Investment Trust from 2014 until 2020 and has been a Non-Executive Director of Majedie Investments Plc since 2000. He is also a Trustee of the London Stock Exchange Benevolent Fund.
