Executive director Shaun Lacey is responsible for Rathbones’ business in Guernsey. He specialises in wealth management for local and overseas HNW clients, especially those with offshore trusts and company structures.

Of his over three decades of experience, Lacey has been with Investec Wealth & Investment UK (now part of Rathbones) for over two decades of this, and some of Lacey’s clients have been with him for the same length of time. On fostering clients’ trust, Lacey tells Spear’s: ‘It's all about learning and understanding what those clients needs and wants are, and what their attitude to risk is ... risk means different things to different people.’
