Sumit Sibal has been thriving as DBS’s UK head of private banking since his appointment in 2021. 

Prior to joining the Singaporean firm, Sibal held positions at banks including Emirates NBD, RBC and Citi. At Citi, Sibal was responsible for the non-resident Indian market and continued to provide his expertise in this nice market at Emirates NBD, where he served as the head for non-resident Indian business in the UK and Europe.

His array of wealth management expertise includes emerging markets, investments, portfolio management, cross-selling, equities and private banking. Sibal has an engineering degree from London Metropolitan University and an MBA from the University of Middlesex.
