Tim Sharp joined Hottinger Group as an investment manager upon the firm’s founding in 2002. He also served as director of operations, establishing the company in the investment marketplace and helping it to grow. Now managing director, Sharp enthusiastically describes Hottinger as a totally bespoke investment manager that works with ‘sophisticated and multifacted investors’ to ensure that the strategy employed suits their individual needs and risk profile. 

Sharp is adept at dealing with a diverse array of UHNW requirements, although there are a few unifying themes. ‘Clients are driven by wealth preservation and mitigating risk. They are also interested in philanthropy and the prospect of investing in private investments that adhere to their long-term beliefs and interests,’ he says.
