Sparrows Capital founder and CEO Yariv Haim manages assets for family offices, wealthy individuals and selected institutions. 

The firm, which itself grew out of a family office, prides itself on its entrepreneurial environment, and Haim says its investment policy is grounded in systematic objectivity. Investment managers make decisions on the basis of facts and empirical evidence, while monitoring and reviewing processes to ensure that the portfolio performs as expected, that the risk allocation remains as intended and that the underlying instruments continue to be relevant and best in class. 

‘There is little rationale in putting all your assets in high-risk, high-speculative strategies,’ he tells Spear’s. In today’s world, more investors are attracted to ‘a balanced approach, putting some capital within clear cost-effective strategies and another portion where you can add a bit of flavour with more tactical or opportunistic strategies’.
