Since founding her eponymous architecture firm in 2009, Simone de Gale has gone from designing small home extensions to major commercial and residential schemes. When asked about her success, she tells Spear’s that the key ingredient is ‘the passion that I have for the job’.

The practice’s approach combines innovation, aesthetics and sustainability, and de Gale works with a wide range of clients, from private HNW families to large commercial developers. She has taken on international projects, but residential work tends to focus on the Kensington, Chelsea, Westminster and City areas. For a townhouse in Chelsea, for example, de Gale worked with a client’s internal team to add ‘functionality and aesthetic appeal’ – redesigning architectural elements and designing bespoke furniture.

The firm’s London presence has been further solidified with a brief from the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea that saw it remodel Chelsea Town Hall and Kensington Memorial Park.
