Every Room Should Sing is the title of Beata Heuman’s best-selling book – and it also represents her interior design philosophy. The Swedish-born designer, who established her studio in 2013, prides herself on creating ‘original work characterised by a Scandinavian attention to detail and longevity’.

Heuman’s approach – splashing colour, pattern and joy into rooms while staying true to the character of the home and the practicalities of living there – has won her a loyal clientele. Her work can be found in private homes, hotels and restaurants across the UK, America and Europe.

Alongside a bespoke interior design consultancy service, Heuman has also created a selection of British and Italian furnishings and homeware, including candles, cushions, throws and wallpaper. Her work has appeared in Architectural Digest, Elle, Forbes, Grazia, Tatler, Vogue, the New York Times, Vanity Fair and the Wall Street Journal.
