Designer Richard Parr’s mission is simple – to incorporate the landscape of rural Britain without rigidly adhering to traditional design methods. He founded his eponymous firm in the mid-Nineties to create spaces that were not based on a house-style but unique and responsive to their use and environment.

With studios in the Cotswolds and London, the firm’s enthusiastic team of model-makers and designers shape buildings that are modern and environmentally friendly without compromising on details that are historically significant.

Richard Parr Associates aims to seamlessly integrate exterior and interior design, and Parr leads every project and serves as a point of contact for clients. The firm takes on a diverse range of work, primarily residential, but also commercial schemes such as hotels. Recent projects include an Arts & Crafts-style farmstead in Sussex and the luxury countryside retreat The Farmyard at The Newt.
