Harry Whittaker

Spear’s Review

Bath Conservation Architects (BCA) was founded in 2018 by Harry Whittaker, who has over 30 years of industry experience and specialises in the restoration and repair of churches, country houses and landed estates.

BCA, which works across south-west England, has taken on projects including heritage buildings in and around Bath, as well as countryside lodges in Wales and a factory conversion in Shrewsbury.

Each of Whittaker’s projects is informed through intensive research, while his designers combine ‘a highly scholarly approach to restoration and repair whilst introducing elegant modern materials'.

As well as being a RIBA-accredited conservation architect, he is a member of the Ecclesiastical Architects and Surveyors Association and was appointed the ‘church architect’ for several buildings in the dioceses of Litchfield and Hereford.
