Cookson set up Cookson Adventures in 2009 after conducting record-breaking polar expeditions with royalty in tow. He aims to lead trips that will introduce people to the breathtaking beauty of rarely visited parts of the globe without endangering it.

Working with scientists and local conservationists, guests are often part of cutting-edge research and contribute positively to the communities they visit.

All trips are individually tailored and staffed with Cookson’s experienced crew of travel experts – one journey to the Antarctic involved two submersibles, three surface vessels, two helicopters and a staff of 30 – meaning clients are able to explore remote, biodiverse, usually unreachable locations without compromising on style or comfort.
