Hubert Zandberg’s designs are often frenetic and always daring, suggesting an aesthetic always at full throttle: a ‘liveable interpretation’ of his own imagination.

Zandberg layers patterns and colours, turning interiors into other realms. His designs pop up all over London’s most coveted residential locations, including Maida Vale, Hyde Park, Chelsea, Notting Hill and Knightsbridge.

One interior, decorated in different hues of blues and greens, is worlds away from its Holland Park address. In another – a grand bedroom in London – Zandberg manipulated the listed space by dividing a verre églomisé screen, standing each half in the alcoves on either side of the chimney.

‘I wanted to add a “ping” to the room,’ he previously told the press. ‘The screens add depth and movement without taking centre stage.’
