Simon Tomlinson, director and studio principal for the architecture practice at Winch Design, does not have a house style, but rather 'interprets the dreams of its clients'.

Winch may be best known for its work on luxury yachts, but the firm has expanded to include private jets and homes for wealthy individuals who enjoy a blend of classic and contemporary design influences.

'We have brought to life homes that offer pared-back, contemporary architecture and interiors, that celebrate the best of Scandinavian Mid-century design, and that showcase the best of Art Deco,' Tomlinson tells Spear's. Under his leadership, the architecture arm of the company has grown to comprise more than half of the business. 

Successful projects include The OWO Penthouse, a seven-story contemporary beach house in Cape Town, and a luxury private apartment for a UHNW family in prime central London.
