Joanna Cocking is head of private office and also leads the prime country team at Hamptons, directing regional specialists who are spread across the south and south east of England.

Cocking specialises in country estates, helping Hamptons’ UHNW client base to sell or secure their dream homes. As opposed to prime property in London, which moves quickly, Cocking says the situation in the countryside is markedly different and moving at a more relaxed pace. Joanna Cocking has worked in the property sector in London, as well as across the UK, for over 30 years, and joined Hamptons in 2001. She began her career working in prime central London in Notting Hill Gate, Kensington, Holland Park, Chelsea and Fulham. After making the move out of London, Joanna as head of private office additionally leads the prime country sales team for Hamptons, which has uniquely placed her as an adviser for the end-to-end process of buying and selling homes.

Joanna covers all of the south and south east of England, specialising in clients with assets of £4 million and over. She can act as both selling and buying agent, working with clients who are predominantly HNW and UHNW families, many in the public eye, making her well versed in working discreetly with a bespoke approach. Personally, Joanna’s childhood involved a large amount of travelling the globe, from Europe to the Middle East and Asia, meaning moving home is second nature to her.
