James Tussaud of Brown Advisory is part of a team that manages over £5 billion on behalf of international private clients, institutional clients and charities.

Tussaud has a particular speciality in supporting sophisticated investors, including a significant proportion of Americans with financial interests in the UK. Brown Advisory is FCA and SEC authorised, with a large network that comprises UK and US clients. Tussaud says that he is proud of the firm’s size, noting that it is large enough to compete with some of the industry’s biggest players while allowing advisers to maintain close relationships with clients.

Tussaud says that while his approach to wealth management is bespoke to his clients’ needs, his overall philosophy towards investing is consistent: ‘We apply a similar approach to all of our clients, which, simply put, is to invest in very good businesses that we feel are going to compound and deliver over time.’
