Spear’s Review

James Tussaud of Brown Advisory comes highly recommended to Spear’s, with a top industry expert describing him as ‘a good banker’. The portfolio manager specialises in US equities and is part of a team which manages £3 billion in AuM on behalf of international private clients, institutional clients and charities. 

With a large network that comprises UK and US clients, Brown Advisory’s expertise has contributed to its success. Tussaud says that he is proud of the American firm’s size; it is large enough to compete with some of the biggest names in the industry and yet able to maintain ‘a nimble footing that absolutely puts clients first’.

Tussaud helps UHNWs get access to a variety of ESG strategies, many of which are US-linked. ‘For us as a business, there are a lot of people who are interested in investing in these structures; they perform very well,’ he says.
