Joe Divito has worked in London real estate since 2001, having shifted from a career in recruitment consultancy. Since 2018, he has served as an area director at Foxtons, overseeing 14 prime central London departments, including Foxtons Private Office.
‘It’s quite a broad role,’ he tells Spear’s. From managing agents working on his behalf across the city to being instructed on some of the firm’s biggest transactions, no two days are the same.
Divito is proud of the approachability and neighbourhood knowledge demonstrated by Foxtons’ agents, even with the agency being one of the UK’s largest. ‘People often see Foxtons as a big corporate estate agent, but actually we are a local agent to each area,’ he says. ‘The managers have worked there for 10, 15, 20 years and are as local as they come.’
