London House director Alex Bourne was an actor performing in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and New York’s Radio City Music Hall for over a decade; however, he realised his true calling was in real estate, where he could connect directly with people.

Bourne was Foxtons’ rare sales negotiator in 2010 before moving on to agencies such as Hamptons and building up Hanover Residential’s prime real estate offering. In 2017, his firm merged with Gary Hersham’s Beauchamp Estates, and Bourne remained in his position as director. Wanting to be independent again, Bourne decided to build a challenger agency in the prime central London market and co-founded London House with Richard Douglas in 2021.

The personable Bourne works predominantly for HNW vendors, but also advises buyers and investors. Transactions are spread across the £1 million to £100 million spectrum, and he helps clients understand the lifestyle aspects and trends of every postcode he operates in.
