Dubai-based Tim Trenker is the CEO of boutique superyacht consultancy BehneMar, which specialises in advising UHNWs through the process of purchasing, building or chartering new or pre-owned yachts.

Despite his C-suite position within the established firm, which also has offices in Monaco and Hamburg, Trenker remains client-facing. ‘I don’t know of one successful CEO or broker who doesn’t still travel to meet with and provide close counsel to clients,’ he told Elite Traveler.

Trenker began his career as an events manager at BMW Middle East in 1999, before moving on to take on managerial roles at auto manufacturers such as Aston Martin and Porsche. He joined BehneMar in 2018 as a COO before getting promoted to lead the firm in 2019.
