Adam Fresco has a far-reaching and varied network of contacts that’s indicative of the 22 years he spent as a journalist at the Times. For one story, the former senior reporter and crime correspondent donned protective riot gear and was put through his paces on a training session with the Metropolitan Police, during which he had a petrol bomb thrown at him. 

Today, however, Fresco is more likely to be taking the heat out of situations – by defusing or pre-emptively avoiding crises on behalf of his clients.

After a nearly five-year spell as media relations director at Mission Media, Fresco launched his own boutique, Message Media, which covers crisis communications, reputation management, PR and media training. His clients include a Mayfair-based billionaire and luxury brands.
