‘I started the company from my living room,’ Amanda Teale tells Spear’s. ‘We started under the name “Travel by Amanda” and then rebranded in 2017 to Minerva Private Travel.’ Since then, the travel company has soared to new heights and has seen revenue surge. 

In an increasingly saturated marketplace, Teale recognises that few travel advisers are able to truly differentiate themselves. ‘Everyone I know can book a trip to Antarctica,’ she says. ‘The difference is how we handle it. I can pick up the phone and confirm things where others cannot.’ 

From around-the-clock, 24/7 service to complimentary EQVs (branded with a bespoke Minerva licence plate), Teale believes in offering a full suite of travel services to make clients feel pampered. ‘Nurturing relationships with clients is everything in this industry.’
