Julia Onslow-Cole
Spear’s Review
‘There is a growing demand for private client immigration advice, because the world is becoming a more volatile place,’ says Julia Onslow-Cole, a partner and head of government advisory services at Fragomen.
A leading voice in immigration law, Onslow-Cole says her industry has become increasingly politicised over the past few years: ‘If you look at the complex immigration policies around the world, many of them are politically driven.’
Fragomen has a sizeable team in the Middle East, Onslow-Cole explains, which has led to her working with clients from the region – or who are currently living there – who wish to move to the UK. Many of these clients are seeking a second or third passport, something which Onslow-Cole notes is becoming accessible to more people.
‘I think that a few years ago this was really only for a certain few people, but now I think it’s quite common,’ she says.
