Aurelia Butler-Ball is an ‘efficient, thorough and very knowledgeable’ commercial lawyer with a particular focus on media and entertainment. She left Irwin Mitchell to establish Tacit Legal in 2022; the firm, based in Brighton, provides legal services in the technology and media industries. 

Recently, Butler-Ball has acted for a recording artist on her deal with Sony Music, provided advice to a well-known television celebrity on a commercial agreement with the BBC, and given legal guidance to a film production company.

She is also a regular speaker on music law and holds a certificate in legal rights and trade practices in the creative industries from UCL Faculty of Laws.
