Svetlana London graduated as a Russian-qualified lawyer from the Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2006. Since moving to the UK, she has completed a graduate diploma in law course, the legal practice course and received an LLM in professional legal practice from BPP University.

Having now left the Moscow bar itself, London is the managing partner of CIS London & Partners, an independent law firm advising corporate and private clients on matters that cross borders and involve the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region, as well as Ukraine and Georgia.

The English- and Russian-speaking lawyer specialises in legal issues and transactions with a CIS element. Over the years, she has been selected as a Russian law expert and as a legal adviser for several High Court cases.
