Well known in the luxury asset sector, Bargate Murray director Elliot Bishop specialises in litigation and dispute resolution, with a focus on marine and aviation matters, but also art. 

Bishop advises owners and lenders on asset finance disputes, charter disputes and broker commission payments arising from the sale of yachts. Clients have included prominent individuals, UHNW, businesses and marinas.

On ensuring a seamless process for his clients, Bishop tells Spear’s: ‘I give clients what they need ... I like to think of myself as a commercial lawyer who gets results.’ 

Alongside his role at Bargate Murray, Bishop also founded SAMBA in 2019, a society for marine and aviation business advisers that meets quarterly.
