Mark Turnbull moved from Blake Morgan in 2017 to join US firm Smith, Gambrell & Russell. Working from London and Southampton, he advises an array of aircraft specialists, financiers and lessors on asset purchases and disposals, as well as regarding regulatory concerns and commercial aircraft contracts. 

Given the inherently international nature of his work, Turnbull has experience helping clients to source and finance aircraft parts, engines and fully realised commercial planes in multiple jurisdictions, including Europe, the Asia Pacific and the Americas.

He also advises financial institutions, leasing companies, individuals and family offices on the financing of other luxury assets, including yachts.
