With 50 years of dealing Old Master sculptures under his belt, Daniel Katz MBE runs a 6,000 sq ft gallery in Mayfair, where he displays works from antiquity right the way through to the 20th century. A passionate collector and connoisseur, his purchase of a 4th century BC Egyptian falcon for £1.1 million – more than 10 times its £100,000 valuation – in 2013 affirmed his mandate to seek out ‘only the best’.

Works of interest include Egyptian antiquities, Old Master paintings and European sculpture, as well as 20th-century British art, art from the Islamic world and modern British art. Katz’s discerning eye has given him a superb reputation in the industry; he is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and the Ashmolean Museum at Oxford.
