‘One of the nicest things about the world of antiquities is that most people are very passionate, and very committed to furthering the study of the ancient world and its artefacts,’ said Madeleine Perridge, who joined Kallos Gallery as gallery director in 2016 from her role as head of antiquities at Bonhams.

Kallos (ancient Greek for ‘beauty’) was originally founded to deal in the finest ancient Greek art, but it has since ‘broadened its focus’. Based in Mayfair, the three-woman team focuses on a broad range of antiquities, from ancient Greek art to Roman, Egyptian and Middle Eastern art and jewellery, with watchwords being ‘astonishing quality and provenance’.
