Daniel Morris set up Corfield Morris with Tim Corfield in 2003 after stints in the museum world and at Sotheby’s. The firm’s team of art advisers is able to advise on sourcing, buying, selling and maintaining everything from Old Masters to emerging Contemporary art, as well as jewellery, classic cars, antique furniture and watches. 

Morris tells Spear’s that ‘private brokerage, valuations and collection management are core strengths’ of the firm, and that this is combined with quality customer service. 

‘Art markets are still confusing and opaque to the uninitiated,’ he says. ‘Our role is to invest time with our clients, introducing them to the art market and demystifying the murky waters. Fact is, buying and selling art is still very daunting to a lot of people.’
