Helen Macintyre, who has over 20 years of industry experience set up her own art advisory in 2007 after a stint at Christie’s (under famed dealer Richard Knight).

With an emphasis on discretion and close client relationships, Macintyre Art Advisory works with private, museum and corporate clients to buy, sell, manage and finance collections worldwide. It specialises in Impressionism, Modern and Contemporary art, and Old Masters. 

Macintyre has learned to understand the person behind the collection and the importance of due diligence, which she attributes to her time with Knight. ‘He taught me all there is to know about a painting,’ she says. ‘And I’ve applied all of that to my business.’
