David Duggan gained his passion for wristwatches while working for his brother John, where he dealt in rare coins and pocket watches.

In 1983, he set up David Duggan Watches and now leads a team of experts with more than 150 years’ combined experience in horology from his shop in London’s Burlington Arcade. ‘We don’t just know watches. We also know how to match the perfect watch with each individual and their personal lifestyle,’ according to the firm.

The business is also a member of the British Horological Institute. ‘The trick is to find a watch market that’s about to grow, and grab hold of it,’ Duggan has said.
