Founded in 1955 by Richard Lobel, the family-run company is a haven for collectors and dealers, who can peruse British, ancient and world coins, banknotes, medallions, antiquities, exotic items and books.

Lobel’s dedication is much admired by those who revel in similarly old-fashioned taste; Lobel and his wife, Claire – who is herself a well-known banknotes expert – believe that ‘helping our collectors is paramount’. 

If you are visiting the British Museum on London’s Great Russell Street, Coincraft can be found directly opposite.
