Mayfair-based Sautter was established over 60 years ago by the late Desmond Sautter, a lover and connoisseur of Cuban cigars. Upon his retirement, Laurence Davis took over the role of managing director and owner.

The company, now with a second outlet in Knightsbridge, is known for its vintage cigar offerings, ashtrays and humidors, as well as its unparalleled customer service, which includes regular newsletters, cigar tastings and training, and events. 

As a testament to his expertise, Davis was the recipient of Hunters & Frankau’s Silver Chaveta for Habanos Retailer of the Year 2015, which the firm awards to individuals in recognition of their ‘outstanding contribution to the UK fine cigar trade’.
