Jasim Ahmed is an award-winning cigar influencer and mentor who is increasingly catering for an international audience of cigar enthusiasts.

As a certified Master of Habanos in the UAE, Ahmed is qualified to induct people into the world of fine cigars, and works with La Casa del Habano in Dubai to help aficionados select the perfect smoke. But it’s through his social media where he is finding a much larger audience.  

With more than 140,000 followers on Instagram and more than 650,000 subscribers on YouTube, Ahmed highlights not just cigars themselves, but the way of life around them.

‘It’s not only about cigars; it’s more about cigar lifestyle,’ he tells Spear’s. ‘It started just in the UAE, but with social media, Instagram, I can contact people everywhere for training. There are a lot of misconceptions about cigars.’
