Having initially trained at Clyde & Co in Dubai, Mark King is now the senior director and head of asset management at Harbour Litigation Funding, looking after a wide range of cases. The firm, which describes itself as the world’s largest privately owned litigation funder, supports clients facing financial challenges that might prevent them from pursuing litigation or arbitration.

In his role, King works closely with Harbour CIO Ellora MacPherson to develop new markets across the world and often handles some of the most complex and high-value cases.

The firm praises King’s experience in private client cases and his network of ‘high-value relationships across leading international practices’. He joined Harbour in 2015 from Mayer Brown, where he was a senior associate handling complex domestic and international litigation and arbitration.
