Collins & Hoy partner Bernadette Hoy has been instrumental in the growth of the firm (created from the merger of EM Collins and Garside & Hoy) for over 25 years.
The majority of Hoy’s practice is related to the financial aspects of relationship breakdown, as well as financial claims and arrangements on behalf of children.
A trained mediator, Hoy has practiced as a collaborative family lawyer since 2007, and is a member of the Resolution collaborative family law working committee. No doubt, this background has influenced her approach to working with clients. ‘It’s about being able to be responsive and having that structure and that team to offer them the service that they need to have,’ she says.
