Dual-qualified in Hong Kong and England and Wales, Caroline McNally has practiced family law for more than 20 years. She previously worked at Gall, one of Hong Kong’s premier law firms, before joining Hugill & Ip in 2023. 

She remains committed to advancing the development of family law in Hong Kong; in 2020, she acted in the first Hong Kong case to use private financial adjudication, a form of alternative dispute resolution. ‘She is undoubtedly the best in her field and considered one of the most highly regarded family law practitioners in Hong Kong,’ a colleague says.

McNally frequently advises clients on all aspects of family breakdown, including divorce, financial settlements, nuptial agreements and all matters relating to children. She has strong experience in complex financial disputes with substantial assets, as well as child relocation cases. She is a fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers.
