Emma Gill describes herself as ‘ruthlessly efficient’. Whether it’s drafting a statement for her clients or delegating in her role as Vardags’ managing partner, Gill believes in the importance of planning and organising in order to ‘hit the nail on the head’ when offering legal advice. 

‘That’s what makes Vardags so good – we have a careful thought process about where clients are going to best be served,’ the family lawyer says. ‘Everybody we [work with] is a millionaire, and we make sure they get allocated to the right team and get the best possible service delivered to them.’

Gill specialises in divorce, financial remedies, children disputes and nuptial agreements, particularly where complex international clients are involved. She tells Spear’s she rarely tackles a case that is valued at less than £15 million.
