Jennifer Ip founded her own firm, Jennifer Ip and Co, in 2005. The specialist family law firm was renamed Ip & Heathfield in May 2008. Based in Hong Kong, Ip is managing partner of the firm, working to provide ‘the best service tailored to the needs and requirements of each individual client’.

Ip & Heathfield advises HNW clients on the handling of complex financial structures and high-value assets, and its approach is predicated on the fact that divorce is never easy. 

‘Our shared aim is to be accessible and approachable family lawyers,’ the firm says. ‘Whilst not necessarily engaging in general practice, we strive to provide a very specialised, personal, practical and cost-orientated approach to clients who are often undergoing a very stressful and difficult period in their lives.’
