Seven years after qualifying in 2009, Jessica Reid joined , a firm that has been specialising in family law since 1972. Having established a specialism for divorce and financial claims, often with an international element, Reid was made partner in 2019. She joined a team with over 30 years of qualification between them.

‘I am astute at dealing with multi-faceted litigation with a focus on achieving settlement,’ Reid said. ‘My practice is bolstered by developing my mediation practice, which has seen me instructed in complex disputes.’ Unusually for a London solicitor, she often conducts her own advocacy up to and including financial dispute resolution hearings, and says that some clients specifically instruct her for this reason. She is a Resolution-trained mediator.
