Patrick Kearns qualified as a solicitor in 2005 and, following a stint at Clintons, set up his own successful family firm, Newton Kearns, in 2017 with Paul Newton.

Kearns reports that it is his ‘personability, combined with ability and experience’ that drives the HNW community to the Holborn-based firm. His specialism lies on the financial side of family law, and he advises on disputes arising from divorce or separation, as well as financial claims relating to children.

On the wealth preservation side, Kearns is often seeing drawing up nuptial agreements and putting in place wealth protection measures for families. He also has a growing mediation practice and tells Spear’s: ‘Mediation is something that, I think, should be considered in every case if possible.’
