William Hogg of Laurus describes himself as an ‘accomplished, client-orientated, collaborative family lawyer and accredited mediator with a passion for problem solving’.

More than four decades of experience in handling high-conflict HNW cases has given him the sort of nous that can only come with time. Hogg is well known in the child mediation and collaborative law space – he also heads up Laurus’s dispute resolution department – and he strongly believes in handing cases outside of the courtroom.

‘I often see cases where people have been battling through the courts for years, and it’s really hard on them,’ he tells Spear’s. ‘Another approach could often have a better outcome. I also love being a mediator; it’s such a good way to work. It benefits me as well as the clients – everybody is happier.’
