Richard Port of George Green Solicitors has risen in prominence as a family lawyer over the past few years, recognised for his work supporting domestic abuse victims around the UK. This has included offering a ‘free of charge service for domestic abuse organisations and victims to call him for a second opinion and for help’, according to his firm. 

As well as supporting domestic abuse victims from ‘all walks of life’, he works with HNW clients – including CEOs and business people – on issues such as prenuptial agreements and marital breakdowns.

In 2022, Port received an MBE for his advocacy work; he was nominated for the Spear’s Family Lawyer of the Year Award around the same time. He is also the president of the Birmingham Law Society.
