Dr Adrian Heini is the medical director of Clinique La Prairie, an award-winning wellness and longevity clinic in Montreux, Switzerland. The clinic is a pioneer of the ‘medical spa’ concept, encouraging clients to stay for a week or two to learn new wellness habits and carry them into their day-to-day lives.
Heini is responsible for the direction of the clinic’s revitalisation and detoxification programmes, which target what the clinic has identified as the body’s seven key systems: brain, heart, circadian rhythm, skin, metabolism, immunity and microbiota.
He believes that when each system is revitalised, the patient will have more energy, flexibility and wellbeing, ultimately resulting in a happier and, crucially, longer life.
