Jian Farhadi

Professor Jian Farhadi is a consultant plastic surgeon with a special interest in microsurgery and cancer reconstruction. Formerly director of the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Guy’s and St Thomas’, at The London Clinic he specialises in reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery and surgery after weight loss.
Farhadi studied medicine at the University of Basel and University Pitié-Salpetrière in Paris before graduating from the Medical School of the University of Basel. He remains actively involved with research.
He is also the founder of the BRA Foundation, a non-profit and independent organisation which helps to raise awareness of breast reconstruction options for women facing mastectomy.
